The event will be organized by the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) in both in-person and virtual format with the participation of 4,500 local workers from 63 cities and provinces, according to VGCL Vice President Ngo Duy Hieu.

Via the dialogue, workers nationwide can directly talk with the Government leader over issues relating to jobs, incomes and working environments.

This is the fifth time the Government chief meets and chats with representatives of workers.

The same day, the Government chief is also expected to visit and present gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in Bac Giang.

The VGCL has collected nearly 10,000 questions and proposals from workers and employers on ten groups including the region-based minimum wage rise from July 1, pressing demands on housing, schools, credit support, vocational training, medical check-up, food safety as well as social insurance.

On this occasion, the VGCL will launch an entertainment program on a national television channel -VTV3- featuring Vietnamese workers stepping up industrialization and modernization./.
