Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrives at Findel Airport, Luxembourg, December 9, 2022

During the visit, Pham is expected to hold talks with his Luxembourger counterpart Xavier Bettel, attend the Viet Nam-Luxembourg business forum, and have bilateral meetings with other leaders of Luxembourg.

Luxembourg is Viet Nam's third largest investor in the European Union, with total registered capital of US$2.6 billion, and one of the first EU member countries to have ratify the EU-Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement.

The two-way trade has grown rapidly since the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement came into effect on August 1, 2020.

Luxembourg regards Viet Nam as one of the priority countries receiving official development assistance, with €129 million to date.

Both sides are exchanging ways to promote cooperation in such fields like eco-agriculture and climate change adaptation./.
